Thanks for signing up to be a facilitator! You'll hear back from us around the last week or first week of the month. We usually wait until the participant application deadline is over (usually the last Sunday of the month) before assigning cohorts and onboarding everyone.

If you'd like to sign up to facilitate more than one program, click the 'Add another program' link below.


Please pick the number of cohorts that you think you can reasonably facilitate for this program. This is NOT the number of participants, but the number of groups you'd like to facilitate for this specific program. If you sign up to facilitate two programs and indicate you'd prefer 2 cohorts in each, you may be assigned up to 4 cohorts total.

We will only assign you this many cohorts if we are very short on facilitators and would otherwise need to reject promising applicants.

For instance, if there are specific participants you want in your cohort, or if you only want to facilitate for participants from a particular university, city or country. We might not be able to give you the cohorts you prefer but we'll try.

We have updated our process around indicating your time availability. Instead of submitting it here, we will be emailing you a separate form to fill out after we have finished reviewing participant applications. 

Please check for that email and fill it out as soon as possible once you have received it.

The Centre for Effective Altruism may share my responses and any other data associated with my EA Virtual Programs participation with other organizations and organizers in the effective altruism community for the purpose of connecting me to potential collaborators and/or relevant resources that are likely to be of significant benefit or interest to me.

By participating in this program, you consent to being filmed or photographed, and potentially having those videos or images be used for training and quality control purposes. Please get in touch with us if you have concerns.
